About Natalie
Even though I am a recent college graduate, I possess many professional skills that will allow me to assist in your learning. I value structure in learning and will always come to our sessions with a learning plan. With that being said, I am very organized and am a great communicator so expectations will always be known.
As a person, I am very personable and easy to talk to. From being a student-athlete, I learned how to work with all types of personalities by creating a safe environment for learning and growing.
As a scientist, my current work at UCSF has taught me how to communicate scientifically. This will help me assist your learning by being concise and easy to understand. This position has also allowed me to translate my scientific knowledge to the real world, which helps me take a big picture approach to teaching.

I am a very approachable mentor. I value not just technical teaching but overall confidence in your ability to deeply understand the subject matter. I love teaching through metaphors and other life examples that can help create lasting knowledge of the subject matter.
I am very passionate about sciences, particularly biology and chemistry, as I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in a related field. This passion will show through my teaching style, as I am someone who loves to learn and teach.
During my four years at UC Davis, I was also a student-athlete. This allows me to offer not just subject knowledge but also advice on navigating university, time management, as well as creating lasting relationships that can help build your future.
