About Cheyenne
I am very good at adjusting my teaching style and explanations to the students needs. I have experience with ages 4 to adulthood. I have experience with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students. I aim to make my sessions as easy to understand and fun as possible. I believe no one is bad at math they just haven’t had the right teacher yet.

A typical session with me will start with you sharing where you are struggling. Don’t worry if you don’t know where you are struggling I will help you find out. I will give a brief explanation. Then I will guide you through an example. Then you will try a problem yourself. Then we will repeat until you are confident you can do it by yourself. If you are struggling at any point I will stop and try a different approach to my explanation, example, or way of solving the math problem. At the end of the session I can go over some study methods and incentives (ex: eat a jellybean after each math problem solved) if asked.
