About My Lessons: Bridging the Classroom and the Real World
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that education should never happen in a vacuum. Whether we are tackling elementary math, diving into high school literature, or exploring complex financial concepts, my goal is to show you why it matters. I don't just help students memorize facts to pass a test; I build customized, dynamic lesson plans that connect academic subjects to real-world applications, personal growth, and future career success.

What I Offer
Because of my diverse professional background, I offer highly tailored tutoring across several distinct disciplines:

K-12 Academic Support: As an active educator and substitute teacher, I work intimately with students across all grades (K-12). I provide targeted support in core subjects, homework help, and study skill development.

Business, Finance & Investment: With a degree in Business Finance and four years of hands-on corporate experience as a portfolio administrator in investment management, I offer advanced tutoring in financial literacy, real estate fundamentals, and private equity principles.

Music & Creative Production: For students looking to tap into their creative side, I offer lessons in drums, piano, and modern music production/songwriting.

Physical Education & Endurance Training: As a dedicated marathoner and founder of a local run club, I can also coach students on discipline, bodyweight exercise routines, and long-distance training blocks.

My Background & Experience
My approach to teaching is grounded in a wide range of real-world experiences. I spent the early part of my career in the high-level investment management industry before transitioning my focus toward education, community development, and youth leadership.

Outside of the traditional classroom, I am deeply involved in community organizing, from building local mentorship programs to running neighborhood resource events. This background in community leadership means I approach every tutoring session with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to see my students thrive.

Why Choose Me?
When you book a lesson with me, you are getting an instructor who understands discipline from training for marathons, creativity from writing and producing music, and analytical rigor from the world of corporate finance.

I understand that every student learns differently. I utilize everything from foundational teaching methods to advanced AI tools to ensure our sessions are incredibly productive, engaging, and specifically tailored to your learning style. Let's get to work and reach your goals together!
