About Mungo
I personally believe Mathematics is one of the most valuable subjects you can study in high school. It gives you problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and confidence that extend far beyond the classroom.
As a tutor, my goal is to make these skills accessible and engaging for every student. I prioritize breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, while building confidence for the student. I take a patient and structured approach, adapting to each student’s learning style to ensure they feel supported and capable, allowing me to see success in numerous previous students.

My lessons are for all High Schoolers who seek to grow their Mathematical capabilities; I teach my students to deconstruct complex problems into things they know how to do, which I reinforce through lots of practice. Typically a lesson would be 1 hour long, but I am more than happy to extend that time frame if deemed necessary. I graduated top of my year at a selective high school for Math Advanced with a mark of 94, and secured an 89 in Math Extension 1. Additionally, I now study two math courses at USyd, being Discrete Math for Computation and Mathematics 1A, so I possess an extensive knowledge of the subject.
