About Mariia

- I'm very sociable and human-loving, I'll understand your difficulties while learning & help to cope with them; - my first language is Russian, so it can be an advantage for Russian speaking students; - I've got a Bachelor's degree diploma with honors in Teaching and Linguistics. My second specialty is teaching of French. - I've got TESOL certificates, enabling me to teach English to non-natives. - now I'm living in the USA, that's why my vocabulary will increase due to everyday practice.

About the lesson

- Great experience while online working, including exams passing. Working with modern electronic textbooks and materials; - I use communicative approach which means lots of close-to-reality practice, not just rules from the textbooks. - ESL exam organization upon Cambridge English University standards provides me with an idea that learning and taking exams mustn't be a great stress. - My lessons have a structure: 1) greeting; 2) warm-up activity; 3) main topic (deductive or inductive approach, depending on age); 4) practice; 5) more practice )): 6) checkup & feedback 7) a game or another activity upon a certain topic to strengthen new knowledge. - due to wide usage of videos, presentations and other multimedia resources my lessons are bright and memorable; - my lessons are for all ages, but mostly I love working with children, teens and young people. Levels A1- B2.
