About Runhan

Hello! My name is Hana/Runhan, born in Jinan I moved to the UK 4 years ago to complete an Urban Studies and Planning masters at the University of Sheffield which I have recently graduated. I'm a passionate and experienced Chinese teacher dedicated to helping students achieve their language-learning goals. About the lesson

My lessons are highly interactive and personalised to suit your learning goals, whether you’re focusing on conversational Chinese, grammar, business Chinese, or preparing for exams like HSK. Typically, we’ll start with a quick review of previous material, then dive into a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises. I use multimedia resources, such as videos, songs, and cultural stories, to make the learning experience engaging and immersive. Learning a language is not just about vocabulary and grammar, it’s about connecting with the culture. I incorporate Chinese traditions, idioms, and real-life scenarios into our lessons. For beginners, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation with pronunciation and essential phrases.
