About Elijah
I graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's of science in biology. While learning here I also worked in a research lab studying nutrition and physiology where knowing basic biology, chemistry, and physics was the baseline to be able to work and contribute. I can help with learning new information, and provide you with the most effective learning techniques so you won't be staring at your notes for hours.

My biology lessons are designed to make difficult concepts clear, practical, and easier to remember. I tailor each session to the student’s current level, goals, and learning style, whether they need help understanding core concepts, preparing for an exam, or strengthening their overall foundation in biology.
I have experience working in a research laboratory, which allows me to connect textbook biology with how science is actually applied in a real research setting. I can help students understand topics such as cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, and general biology while also developing stronger scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills.
My teaching style is patient, conversational, and focused on understanding rather than simple memorization, though when memorization is necessary I will provide you with effective ways to memorize information without sitting down and staring at words and definitions for hours.
Lessons can be adapted for high school students, college students, and anyone looking to improve their understanding of biology.
