About Sharon
Hi, I’m Sharon. I have an academic background in Food Science, where I developed a strong foundation in subjects like biology, chemistry, and scientific analysis. My studies trained me to approach problems logically, explain complex ideas clearly, and pay close attention to detail.
I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a simpler and more practical way. I believe learning should feel approachable rather than overwhelming, so I focus on explaining the “why” behind each topic and guiding students step by step until they feel confident with the material.
I’m patient, supportive, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance, but also to build their confidence in the subject.
If you’re looking for a tutor who is clear, structured, and encouraging, I would be happy to support your learning journey.

About My Lessons
My teaching approach focuses on making concepts clear, practical, and easy to understand. I like to break down complex topics into simple steps and guide students through the reasoning behind each concept so they can truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
During lessons, I usually combine explanations, examples, and practice questions. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so we can identify areas that need more focus. My goal is to help students build confidence in the subject while developing their problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson usually lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s preference. We normally start with reviewing previous material, then work through new concepts, followed by practice questions or exercises.
I have an academic background in Food Science, which has given me strong foundations in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and scientific analysis. Through my studies, I have also gained experience explaining complex scientific ideas in a clear and structured way.
My lessons are suitable for middle school and high school students, especially those who need support in science subjects such as biology and chemistry, or students who want a clearer understanding of their coursework.
