About Grace
I initially had my heart set on pursuing a Masters of Clinical Psychology, however after spending 2 years in a Crisis Counselling role during undergrad, I no longer connected with the desire. My time free-lance tutoring ultimately inspired me to study to become a high school teacher......I wanted something different!
My highest grades relevant to Psychology (taken during my Psych or teaching degree) are:
~ 92% for a meta-analysis on personality traits
~ 89% for a Biological Psychology exam
~ 84% Pedagogy for Teaching Psychology
In 2014 I had the privilege of studying psych electives for 2 months at the University of Cambridge!
In line with my tutoring experience (~5 years) and qualifications , my rates are:
* In person (at my home): $30 per hour / $55 for 2 hours: no surcharge.
* On-line: $30 per hour / $55 for 2 hours: no surcharge.
* In-person (at local libraries etc.): $45 per hour *base rate* - there will be a travel surcharge as I do not drive, and thus need to pay for bus fares. On average this tends to be an extra $5.

Hello everyone! My name is Grace ~ I’m a graduate teacher and hold a Masters of Secondary education and Bachelor of Psychology (Hons). My teaching areas are; Yr 10-12 Psychology, Year 7-12 English, Yr 7-10 Science, Yr 10-12 Biology).
I have an immense passion for Psychology and have tutored secondary and university students in a variety of different units/ courses (even IB Year 10-11 Psychology SL and HL during teaching practicums)...Rest assured I endeavour to make statistics less scary, maybe even fun...).
My approach to teaching psychology is VERY active i.e. using online brain models and medical imaging examples to discuss neurobiology, mock case studies to teach psychopathology, mock exams, step-by-step tutoring for statistics content (online stats programs for high school, or SPSS/ Process for uni students)...My methods are ultimately tailored to YOUR needs!
