About Sai Sravanthi
One of the best methods to establish trust with students is to listen to them. Recognizing the role played by teachers in a student's self-confidence is necessary. Denying students or humiliating them before other students when they commit an error can impact their self-confidence. This also changes their attitude towards the teacher-student relationship, where they perceive you as an authority figure rather than a confidant. Rather than hasty condemning of a student, hear them out and provide a solution based on their input. Treating students with compassion reminds them that they are appreciated. Listening enables the student to speak honestly and be vulnerable without intimidation.

Take a chance to learn. Arrive in class with all the right gear, a good attitude being one of them. Much more goes into setting up a lesson than you likely realize. In most cases, students get an opportunity to learn from industry insiders and they make decisions based on small, trivial things such as the color of the socks that I am wearing. Wherever I can, I will try to provide you with a context for the math I am teaching you. Please note, however, that there usually is no real-life context. This does not mean that you do not need to learn or that I have not proven myself because of this. Frequently, I am teaching you a sequence of skills that you need to use together as the work becomes more involved. If you do not get some of the background skills, life is more difficult.
