About Satyam
It's not the student's fault if (s)he fails in understanding what is being taught. It's the job of the teacher.
There are only two things I demand of the students, attention and honesty. The rest is on me.
I believe in learning at ease and teaching at ease. Any pressure that is built up while learning only takes the learner a step away from understanding.
I have a degree in B.E. (Hons.) - Electronics and Instrumentation. Mathematics has been one of my favorite subjects since school days. I have always enjoyed teaching and have been appreciated. It really satisfies me when somebody truly and completely understands what I am trying to explain and I settle for nothing less than that. I immensely welcome doubts from students, because if there are no doubts, there is something wrong with my explanation. That's what my teachers have always taught me.

My teaching is based on my good understanding of the concepts before I start explaining someone else.
It not only makes the sessions more clear, but also efficient.
To make the student understand the concepts thoroughly, I make an effort to use a lot of examples and draw analogies to make them see the concept exactly as I see it.
I divide the session into small parts and explain each part one by one. After each part, I keep asking the student if he/she has any doubts with that part. It helps me understand how much the student has understood. It also helps the student in asking specific doubts and not get lost within a lot of information. This is also to keep up with my belief of learning and teaching at ease.
Lastly, I don't let it go till I make sure the student has understood what I am trying to explain. I always find ways to adapt to student's ways of learning, be it visual, audio, diagrams, examples or others.
There's nothing too difficult to understand. All it requires is two things, teacher's will and student's undivided attention.
