About Giulia
I am a graduate student in Foreign Languages and Literatures, graduated with honors from the Bachelor's Degree in Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literatures at the Catholic University of Milan. I have two certifications in English: Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) with grade A (level C2) and IELTS with score 8/9. I also attended a Summer school at UCL in London in 2016. In addition to excellent grammar skills, I have a lot of experience in the spoken language (speaking), with particular attention to the enrichment of vocabulary and pronunciation, and strategies to improve listening comprehension.

Depending on the needs of the students I tend to customize the path, always keeping in mind some fixed points. First of all, grammar, at any level, must be the basis on which to build one's linguistic competence. I then focus a lot on the oral comprehension of the language, offering personalized activities (viewing of various types of videos in both British and American English, direct conversation, etc.) that improve the ability to understand and interact orally in the foreign language. The goal of my methodology is to make the student feel comfortable with the foreign language and to make learning stimulating and, why not, fun. This is why I customize the path also based on the personal or professional interests of the student.
