About Ruben
I have taught in small group settings at learning centers and supervise large groups of students to ensure clear expectations of work consistently. I try my best to know students one on one to build good rapport and confidence in them. I project what I preach is necessary to make the learning environment safer and more comfortable for student learning. I do this by scaffolding students on current knowledge and past experiences and make recommendations also based on their current progress.

My name is Ruben Soqui. I feel the importance of tutoring and teaching lies in the experience one seeks to apply what is learned in the classroom. Not everything we do is learned from books but also by actively doing them consistently. Through practice and teaching, the logic and reasoning of things we do start to make sense—this is the art and science of teaching math or other subjects.
