About Caitlin

My name is Caitlin and I have been tutoring for over a year now. I am a grammar school student, who has sat CSSE exams and was successful. I enjoy teaching children and helping them to reach their full potential. My lessons are tailored to individual children and their needs. I am flexible with times and believe that every child is able to succeed with hard work and patience.

About the lesson

My lessons start with a baseline test to determine the level that the student is at and to decipher weaker areas that need to be covered. From there, lessons can be 1-2 hours long in which the student is taught content that is specified by the exam board. Practice papers are then used to practice timing and to aid the student adjusting to exam conditions. The student is also given homework using the 11+ Bond books, which are purchased by the parent, to further deepen their understanding of content taught and to see areas which need improvement.
