About Dimakatso
I am a second year student in Biotechnology at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. For as long as I can remember, English has been my best and favourite subject and I’ve always been passionate to learn more and teach more. I find English very interesting and being good at it can be best for all student as it is the Universal language. I love sharing my knowledge with others and watching them grow, tutoring gives me that opportunity. In tutoring, I can make a positive difference. It is a flexible, interesting and rewarding job that allows me to interact and work with children or adults, the one-on-one educational support that I will provide can empower them to achieve their full potential.

I teach creatively and according to the specific needs of a student and mainly focus on the area at which the student is struggling. I will figure out a student’s learning style and technique then figure out which way is best to help them learn. I’m excellent in South African languages such as Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, isuZulu and isiXhosa and will try to accommodate my students but also mainly focus on learning English and improving in it. My lessons are mostly aimed at learning level students and for those trying to improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English.
