About Mfon
I am a senior neuroscience student at GSU who has a passion for math, science, and teaching. I've tutored over 50 individual students in algebra, precalculus, statistics, and biology. I have taught a couple of these students for almost three years. Regardless of the length of our tutoring relationship, I am always committed to giving my full attention to each students individual concerns.

I primarily teach high school and middle school students, but I am also experienced instructing college students and adult learners. My teaching style is to actively engage with students throughout the problem-solving process. I consistently ask for input on the "why" and "how" of problems to ensure that my students are understanding core concepts rather than purely memorizing steps. My short-term goal is to improve my students' grades, but my long-term aim is to nurture critical thinking skills that they can apply to any problem.
