About Gunjan
I’m Gunjan, a dedicated and approachable math tutor who believes every student can excel with the right guidance. With a Master’s in Economics from the prestigious Delhi School of Economics, a BA (Hons) in Economics from Hansraj College, and an outstanding academic record (96.75% in Class 12), I bring both expertise and passion to my teaching. Over the past 3 years, I have also worked as a Data Scientist/Analyst, which allows me to connect mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios, making lessons practical and engaging. My students value my patience, clear explanations, and ability to make even the most challenging topics feel manageable. I take pride in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence step by step. As a teacher, I focus on making math simple, logical, and engaging. My approach combines clear explanations, real-world examples, and step-by-step problem solving so students understand the “why” behind each concept, not just the “how.” Teaching techniques & methods: I use concept breakdowns, visual aids, and plenty of practice questions to strengthen fundamentals. I encourage active participation so students can confidently solve problems on their own. Class structure: Each session begins with a quick recap, followed by a clear explanation of new topics, interactive problem-solving, and guided practice. We end with a short review and homework for reinforcement. Special features: My background in Economics (Master’s from Delhi School of Economics, BA Hons from Hansraj College) and 3 years’ experience as a Data Scientist give me a unique edge in connecting math with practical applications, making it more relatable and interesting. Who I teach: I work with school students (Classes 6–12), college students needing support in quantitative subjects, and adults preparing for competitive exams or improving their math skills for professional growth.
