About Galina

My name is Galina(my students call me Ina).
I am love exploring all aspects of English language,and English Literature.Drama and acting in my classes is amazing.We also practice creative writing and acting out popular plays.
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in English Language from University of the West of England in Bristol,UK; LTCL Trinity TESOL Diploma from Trinity College,London in UK;
TEFL Certificate ,3 years university training in Applied linguistics and over 16 years classroom and online teaching experience.
I have been teaching online English classes for the last 9 years.
Overall my classroom and online teaching experience is 16 years.I have excellent experience in teaching General/Conversational English to young
learners, teenagers and adults at Royal Holloway,University of London,UK.I have also been teaching online ESP-English for Specific Purposessuch as Business/Legal/Medical/Financial/Aviation English to international university students and professionals with EnglishUp Macmillan and English Online Digital Training.I have also been preparing teenagers for PET and Trinity exams as well as students and professionals for IELTS,(General and Academic),FCE,CAE,APTIS,TOEFL examsDuring my teaching practice I have developed interesting language activities to facilitate students learning process.As a visiting lecturer at Oxford University(UNIV),I taught debate and presentation skills to Asian students in Law and International Relations. Every year, during the British school holiday, I sit on the BEO judge panel. BEO(British English Olympics)is an international event held in England and it is a competition among students coming from more than 15 countries to demonstrate their great English language skills.It is an amazing experience not only for students but also for teachers, judges and the event organisers.All my students have various nationality/background and we have always worked really hard together to achieve their learning goals.I always apply individual approach to get the best out of each student. I also prepare learners' needs analysis and study plan to suit everyone's educational needs. All students receive a constructive feedback about their participation in class after the end of each lesson, which helps them follow their learning progress.Learning English is both hard work and great fun.Students are free to explore every aspect of life practising English at the same time.Learning together makes the difference!
