About Aarthi
I am a passionate and dedicated Biology tutor, currently pursuing a degree in Biotechnology with a strong academic foundation in life sciences. I have 2 years of experience taking home tuition, where I have helped school students improve their understanding and perform better in exams. In addition, I have supported my peers during exams by simplifying complex topics and guiding them with effective study strategies.
My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual clarity rather than rote memorization. I believe that once a student truly understands a concept, learning becomes easier and more enjoyable. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and interactive discussions to make Biology interesting and easy to grasp. I also train students on how to articulate answers in a structured and exam-oriented manner, helping them score higher marks.
Most tutors focus only on explaining the subject, but I go a step further by teaching students how to learn effectively.
I use proven learning techniques such as the Feynman technique to simplify concepts, Pomodoro technique to improve focus, and mnemonics to help with memory retention. These methods help students not only understand but also remember and apply what they learn in exams.
Being a student myself, I understand the common challenges students face and explain topics in a relatable and easy-to-understand way. I focus on creating a supportive and friendly learning environment where students can build confidence in their abilities.
