About Gabriel
I am a modern, relaxed, engaged and happy teacher. I like to bring everyday subjects, current events and humor contexts into the classroom, because I believe it enriches the content and helps memorize the subject. I graduated as a Communicator, but my passion from an early age has always been teaching and helping, and I'm even joining Psychology soon to continue the pedagogical work I apply in my classes.

Well, the first step to speaking or writing in another language (English or any other language) is LISTENING and/or READING!
Whether you are a beginner who wants to learn, or a fluent person who wants to keep practicing, people need to be exposed to language and language to absorb new information.
Whether through reading or what we hear, this first step is the "INPUT". So, naturally, we make assimilations of what we're understanding and, finally, we reproduce it as "OUTPUT".
When we're younger, we're less stuck so we could absorb and assimilate new information more easily and flexibly, so as time goes on it seems harder to learn new things. But it's not impossible! It's all about stimulation, habits and practice.
Some tips:
- We were able to better memorize new content with subjects that are of interest to us! Be it movies or series or programs we like, songs or shows we listen to, books that fascinate us, all kinds of content we like are more pleasurable to study and the brain retains information better.
- Our brain transforms short term memories into long term as we put it into practice, or as we understand the processes better, so a good tip is to always try to explain to someone or apply what was learned. Thus, we stimulate the brain to retain that information as a long-term memory.
