About Wael

I am a civil engineering major with a strong passion for STEM and a genuine love for learning. Growing up in a family heavily involved in engineering, I was constantly surrounded by problem-solving, curiosity, and discussions about how things work. That environment helped shape my interest in math and science and inspired me to pursue engineering.

Because of this background, subjects like calculus, chemistry, and geometry became more than just classes to me, they became tools for understanding the world and solving real problems. As a tutor, I enjoy helping students see these subjects in a clearer and more approachable way.

I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and helping students build confidence in STEM. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a stronger understanding of the concepts and the problem-solving skills that will benefit them in future classes and careers.

About the lesson

My teaching focuses on building a strong understanding of concepts before moving to problem-solving. I break down complex ideas into simple explanations and guide students through problems step-by-step. I use active learning and ask guiding questions so students learn how to think through problems on their own rather than memorizing procedures. I also adapt my explanations to match each student’s learning style and pace.

Typical Lesson Plan
A typical session begins with a short review of previous material and any questions from the student. I then introduce or clarify the main concept using clear examples. We work through problems together, followed by independent practice so the student can apply what they’ve learned. At the end, I summarize key points and suggest practice for continued improvement.

I focus on making difficult concepts clear and manageable while teaching effective problem-solving strategies. I am patient, adaptable, and committed to helping students build both confidence and strong analytical skills.
