About Ellie
I am a year 13 (in September) student who is predicted an A* in English Lit A level. I will be honest in saying that I wasn’t originally going to pick English lit as I thought there would be too much reading. However, I find that the most important part of English is being able to tell your convincing opinions about a theme or character or technique - any opinion is valid which makes English a lot easier than people think. I am open to learning methods with whatever will help you and can be an open ear to any worries you may have. I have a dog called Snow and 2 cats. I love shopping and going to concerts/festivals and travelling :)

I understand that English can be hard to concentrate on, especially in lessons longer than 1 hour. However, I promise to make the lessons engaging and fun, whilst also providing advice and encouragement. English isn’t all about reading, but analysing, and can relate to so many different themes so is able to interest anyone.

Ellie is a hard working A level student with expected Spanish A level grade of A*. She is not only excellent at Spanish language but as her grandparents live in Spain is also knowledgable about Spanish culture and way of life.
She is a lovely person and very bubbly so easy to get along with, not to mention a pro at the language! An amazing choice if you would like help developing your confidence and skills 🫶
