About Saurav
Hello! My name is Saurav Ghising, and I have a Master’s degree in English. I have a strong academic background in literature and language, but what truly defines me is my passion for learning, expression, and creativity. As a tutor, I teach English up to the undergraduate level, with a focus on literature, grammar, essay writing, and critical analysis. My lessons are tailored to the student’s level—whether simplifying key concepts for school learners or encouraging in-depth discussions and analytical writing for undergraduates. I use interactive methods like close reading, guided discussion, and practice exercises to make learning engaging and effective. Outside the classroom, I am a musician and songwriter with years of live performance experience. My love for music and literature often informs my teaching, as I believe both are powerful tools of self-expression and interpretation. This creative perspective allows me to connect with students not just academically, but also personally, inspiring them to see language as something alive and meaningful. I often use questions, short activities, and model essays to make learning active. Each session ends with a recap and small tasks for practice, so progress feels consistent and measurable.
