About Rachel
Hello,
I’m a 25 year old teacher from Manchester and have been teaching since I qualified in 2015. I have experience in all age groups from nursery up to year 6, however my longest role was for nearly 3 years in upper key stage 2. Currently I am a supply teacher, looking for my next long term role.
I have experience working with children and young people both inside and outside of school, I have worked at schools, youth groups, holiday clubs, rainbows and brownies and over summer I will be working with young people in the community.
I enjoy books, movies and photography in my spare time and I adore the outdoors. I love nothing more than taking my beagles on long walks. I also enjoy planning weddings and do this on a small scale with my husband :)
I love to teach, I want nothing more than for every child to have their ‘light bulb moments’. I have a passion for making learning fun and taking away the fear and apprehension some children may have.
