About Sofia

I love meeting with new people and can get along with most all personalities, so if connecting with your tutor is on your list of worries, my goal is to make leveling up your skills as painless and natural as possible! To be totally transparent, I have been on both sides of the stick as far as grades go, so judgment or impatience will never be something you have to deal with during a session. I’m looking forward to working with you!

About the lesson

I know firsthand how it feels to feel disconnected with the way your in-house teacher explains topics. I offer simplified, patient math help that meets you wherever you’re at! :)

Credentials: I’m a high school junior currently taking Honors Trigonometry, and I’ve been taking honors classes since the 2nd grade. I’m one of 4 members of my school’s math academic team. I’m taking early-college classes in engineering and business, and I often help peers at school with math concepts. I also participate in 7 extracurriculars while maintaining a 4.3 GPA.
