I’m Jason, a high school math tutor who makes tough concepts click. I focus on understanding, not memorization, and I adapt every lesson to how you learn best. My goal is to boost your grades while building real confidence in math, so you actually enjoy solving problems instead of dreading them. I’m serious about helping you improve—I come prepared, keep things clear, and make sure every question gets answered. About the lesson

My tutoring approach focuses on mastering understanding, not memorization. I break down complex math ideas into simple, logical steps that build from core concepts, ensuring students truly grasp why formulas work, not just how to use them. A typical lesson starts with reviewing past material to reinforce retention, then tackling new topics through guided examples, followed by independent practice and real-world applications to test understanding.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain the same concept in multiple ways until it clicks, adapting to each student’s learning style. I’m patient but rigorous; I push students to think critically, not settle for surface level answers. My lessons are ideal for high school students, whether they’re struggling with Algebra, Geometry, or Pre-Calculus, or aiming for top marks in AP-level math.
