About Michael
I helped lead a tutoring program in my neighborhood for a year and a half, giving me a lot of insight into how to be patient and adapt to many different kids' learning styles. I've maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.54 for the last 3 years, got 5's on all of my AP exams, and scored a 1450 on the SAT, all while being on the Varsity Basketball team. I've had experience both teaching 1st-5th graders in a tutoring program my mom and I ran for our neighborhood and high-schoolers at my high-school. I'm proficient in math up to Calculus BC and English up to AP Language and Composition, and can teach a variety of other subjects as well. I love to lead people to answers rather than doing it for them, as this is what helps students (especially me) learn best! I can provide math lessons and example essays if needed, and am ready to assist someone however they need me to.
