About MAUREEN
I have experience tutoring with tutoring companies, private tutoring, and peer tutoring within my school. I am pursuing one of the most academically rigorous programs worldwide (the IB) and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire school career. I am currently enrolled in Higher Level Mathematics within the IB Diploma Program and have maintained a 98% average in the class throughout the past two semesters. I am a confident and capable mathematician!

I work with elementary, middle, and early high school students on mathematics and sciences. Mathematics classes I have experience taking and tutoring include Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. In terms of science, I have experience with Living Environment, Chemistry, and Biology (early high school levels). I look forward to personalizing the curriculum to the individual student. Some students may need help studying for the regents exams while others may be struggling their homework in these classes. I am up for anything! What makes me different than other tutors is that I am also a student! I have experience taking all of the same classes as the students and I know the ins-and-outs better than anyone else
