About Oscar
I am an experienced History Teacher. I hold a MAT degree in Education from Liberty University and have a background in teaching secondary social studies, and I currently teach in a private school.
For most students, history is taught in every school institution. It’s boring, too much information, and they ask, “Why am I learning this?”
Well, in my class. I bring learning to life by bringing history and events. Helping students understand history better.

History can be fun and interesting for students; with the right motivation, stories that fascinate them can make learning fun. I taught students in grades 6-12 at two private schools. I am passionate about U.S. History, World History, Government, and Economics. I like motivating students to establish critical thinking skills, understand the events that took place from the past to the present, analyze the past that is relevant to the present, and establish different perspectives.
Students will:
• Develop critical thinking and collaboration
• Use technology to enhance learning
• Build confidence in learning history
• Set goals and reflect on accomplishments
