I recognize how frustrating math can be, but love the gratifying and satisfying feeling of finally understanding a concept, and even better, doing well on a test. Working with someone always helped me understand better, and I hope to be that person to others, especially because I like working with kids.

Help kids understand math concepts they struggle with by slowly walking through the problem with them, in different ways, while ensuring their understanding and maintaining engagement. As a student with ADHD, myself, I understand how frustrating academics can be for other students who have it, and how to accommodate children who also struggle with it. I prefer teaching younger kids, such as elementary and middle school, but I am more than happy to help with high school math subjects, as AP calc was one of my favorite classes in high school, and have a math heavy major.
