About Salomé
I am a motivated and dedicated student with a strong academic background and a passion for learning. Currently studying chemistry, economics and history, which makes me highly adaptable and versatile. I graduated from high school with a baccalaureate in economics, sociology and mathematics.
Having studied in different environments, I am adaptable and comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds. I understand the importance of clear communication and encouragement when helping others succeed.
My goal is to create a positive and structured learning environment where students feel confident, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential.

My approach to teaching math is to adapt to each student. I like to make sure the basics are understood first, because in math students often struggle not exactly where they think they do, but because of gaps from earlier topics. So I take time to go back and identify where the difficulty actually comes from.
I focus on explaining the reasoning behind methods so students don’t just memorize, but actually understand.
I can help students from elementary and middle school up to high school, covering everything from the basics to Calculus I. Lessons can be in English or French depending on what the student prefers.
What makes me a bit different is that I come from two educational systems: I graduated from a private French lycée and I am now studying in an American college in an Honors program. This helps me adapt to different expectations and explain concepts in different ways depending on the student. This allows me to prepare students for both French and American curricula and help bridge gaps for those transitioning between the two systems.
