About Jody
I grew up in Cape Town South Africa, with English as my native language. My mother has been an English teacher for 15+ years, so naturally I picked up a lot. I've tutored students in Cape Town and I've also travelled through South America where I taught friends how to get better at English.

My teaching method is very simple. The most important thing is to gauge the level of the student. Once I have a good idea of the strengths and weaknesses of the student I can then build upon those fundamentals. Once you have a strong base, the rest become easy.
