As a mathematics teacher, the focus has always been on understanding the core concepts of each chapter... It's always the hard (working) way to approach the subject and once you're able to break that barrier, the love for Maths and the joy of doing Maths eclipses everything else...
There's nothing more fulfilling than seeing a student develop an unparallel affinity towards the subject and knowing that I have played an integral role towards it...
