About Khushboo

I'm an IIM graduate with 5+ years of experience helping students prepare for competitive admissions tests.

Over the years, I've worked with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, helping them develop the reasoning, analytical thinking, and exam strategies needed to perform at their best. Having worked extensively across both quantitative and verbal reasoning, I've developed an approach that focuses not just on answering questions correctly, but on understanding how students think and where they struggle.

One of my strengths is identifying the habits and misconceptions that prevent students from reaching their potential. Rather than relying on memorisation or shortcuts, I help students build strong reasoning skills, improve decision-making under time pressure, and develop the confidence needed to perform consistently in high-stakes exams.

***How I Work with Students
The UCAT isn't a test of how much you know—it's a test of how effectively you can think under pressure. My teaching focuses on helping students develop the reasoning, judgement, and decision-making skills that the exam is designed to assess.

Rather than following a fixed programme, I tailor every lesson to the way you think. We identify the patterns behind your mistakes, strengthen weak areas, and develop strategies that improve both accuracy and speed. The goal isn't simply to answer more questions, but to make better decisions with the limited time available.

***What a Typical Session Looks Like
Every lesson is personalised to your current level and target score. Sessions typically combine focused concept work with timed practice, followed by a detailed review of your approach to each question. Rather than simply marking answers right or wrong, we examine why an option was attractive, where your reasoning went off track, and how to avoid making the same mistake again.

As your preparation progresses, lessons become increasingly targeted, concentrating on the sections and question types that will have the greatest impact on your performance.

***What Makes My Approach Different
I don't believe in teaching shortcuts without understanding. While efficient techniques are important, they only work consistently when supported by strong reasoning and clear thinking.

Alongside question-solving methods, I help students improve pacing, confidence, and decision-making under pressure. Every study plan is personalised, with regular feedback, targeted practice, and clear objectives so you always know what you're improving and why.
