About Swapil

Hello! I am Swapil, a Master’s graduate from IIT Kanpur and currently working as a Data Science professional at a leading international bank. With a strong academic foundation from one of India’s premier institutes and years of real-world corporate experience, I bridge the gap between "textbook theory" and "practical application." I don't just teach you how to solve a problem; I teach you how to think like a problem-solver—a skill that is essential for cracking competitive exams and succeeding in future careers.

About the lesson

As an IIT Kanpur alumnus and a working Data Scientist, I believe that Mathematics and Physics are not just about memorizing formulas—they are about building a logical framework to solve problems. My goal is to help students transition from "rote learning" to "intuitive understanding," the same approach that helped me crack competitive exams and thrive in the corporate banking sector.

Methodology & Techniques:

First-Principles Thinking: I teach students to derive concepts from scratch. If you understand the derivation, you never need to memorize the formula.

Real-World Application: Being a data professional, I constantly bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-life application, making abstract concepts in Calculus or Mechanics easier to visualize.

Problem-Solving Focus: I emphasize selecting the right approach for a problem rather than just finding the answer. We focus heavily on "pattern recognition" in questions—a key skill for JEE and competitive exams.

Typical Class Structure (60 Minutes):

0-10 mins (Concept Check): A quick review of the previous session and a "warm-up" problem to activate the brain.

10-40 mins (Core Learning): Deep dive into the topic. We break down complex theories into bite-sized, logical steps.

40-55 mins (Guided Practice): We solve problems together, ranging from basic textbook level to previous years' competitive exam questions.

55-60 mins (The "Takeaway"): A quick summary of the class and a specific homework set designed to reinforce the day's concept.
