About Sapna
I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from Birmingham and have been performing in India, the US, UK and the Netherlands across prestigious venues and continue to learn carnatic music since the age of 6. I have learnt from famous gurus such as Chitravina Ravikiran, Madurai Rajaram, Akhila Shiva and numerous other artists in the South indian music industry.

My methodology is simple. I am happy to teach beginners of carnatic music especially to children who have a natural passion for singing and music. As I have learnt from numerous musicians throughout my musical journey, I have an idea of how to teach effectively and make the student enjoy learning this art form. I can teach both theory and vocal/ practical, giving the student an idea of why something must be sung the way it is sung and how to go about it. I can teach from varisais, to geethams, to varnams and krithis and some manodharmam too.
