About Will
Where to start? I grew up in Paisley and went to an average school where I had some really above average teachers who inspired me a lot. I wanted to be a vet until the day we dissected a pig heart in standard grade biology and I quickly decided to rethink my ambitions.
Leaving school, I first studied mathematics and statistics because there are no hearts in mathematics and statistics (and no souls some might say) and then, eventually I settled on Microbiology, where I found the best of both of my passions.
I currently work in molecular biology.

I am currently an industry professional working in molecular ecology for the Scottish Government and have a bachelors degree in Microbiology from Glasgow Caledonian University.
I have also previously studied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Strathclyde and Secondary Education at the University of the West of Scotland.
Numeracy skills and data analysis often make the difference in grade outcomes in school sciences, and my industry knowledge and background in mathematics and education make me an ideal candidate to help boost grades.
My approach uses a structured combination of worked examples, past paper questions and revision strategies to build confidence answering exam-style questions and a deeper understanding of the material.
