About Szymon
I am this year's high school graduate with the IB diploma.
I am expecting good results, but my predicted grades (43/45 points) got me offers from top universities in the UK (University College London, King's College London, University of St. Andrews) in neuroscience.
During the IB program, I prepared six scientific papers, entirely in English (so-called IA, EE, TOK essay), 1,500 to 6,000 words long:
- Extended Essay: Study of the Effect of pH on the Growth of Microchloropsis salina unicellular algae.
- HL chemistry: Study of the relationship between the length and strength of covalent bonds of diatomic particles in the p-block of the periodic table.
- Psychology of HL: Repetition of the experiment on cognitive bias (the so-called Framing Effect) by researchers Amos Tverski and Daniel Kahneman.
- HL biology: Study of the effect of wavelength light on plant growth.
- Mathematics SL: the use of Bayes' theorem in diagnostic tests.
- TOK essay: Assessment of the value of scientific knowledge in relation to the arts.
Thanks to this experience, and learning these subjects in English, I am sure that I can share useful knowledge with the student.

- I will happily talk about the international high school diploma and help people who pass it in writing EE and IA papers in biology, chemistry and psychology. I will suggest how to edit the work in order to receive the highest marks, propose possible corrections and indicate the directions for further work development.
The length of the lesson is to be agreed upon. Personally, I recommend a time longer than 60 minutes.
I only require a willingness to learn and diligence, without which it isn't easy to learn :).
