About Victoire

Hello dear students, I am called Vicky. Completed ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountant) and I am a holder of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. I have an international teaching certificate where I had an excellent score. If you need an accounting tutor for kids, I also have lots of experience to handle their needs. I am also qualified to teach ACCA, CPA, CIMA. I also handle group lessons because I believe that two are always better than one and as a result, they will stimulate faster. I love sharing my knowledge with others and watching them grow. I enjoy helping students to learn and understand difficult concepts in accounting. Above all, I love Accounting because it is an interesting field.

About the lesson

I have more than 5 years of experience in teaching accounting. Many students are frustrated when learning accounting, as a result, they avoid the field. With my experience, I make the students understand that their only limitations are their fears. My lessons are mostly interactive because accounting is both practical and theory. Before having a class with a student, I first ask their challenges in a particular topic or course, then I will design the lesson plan that will focus mostly on their challenges. I know how accounting can be discouraging when you do not understand. Reason why I decided to lecture this course to ease and facilitate the understanding process. My lessons are for beginners, intermediate and undergraduate. Have knowledge in various fields mostly due to ACCA which is an international certificate. The following are just an iceberg of different types of topics in which I have in-depth knowledge. Just to name a few we have: -Double entries principle, correction of errors and end of year adjustment -control accounts that is receivable control account and payable control account -mastering trial balance -learning T-accounts -Learning journal recording -learning accounting day books such as the sales daybook, purchase daybook etc -learn the two, three column cash book and the petty cash book -learn even the basic UK tax system under the finance act 2022 -Basic financial statements knowledge -basic and advanced consolidation -consolidation when it comes to foreign currency translation method. -computation of present value -calculation of breakeven -interpretation of financial statements with financial and non-financial indicators -throughput, lifecycle and target costing -basic in budgeting -standard costing -financial instruments -cost of capital that is master how to calculate the WACC (Weighted Average Cost of Capital) -advise shareholder on either to choose equity or debt finance -learning international accounting standard and its application -calculation of depreciation using the straight line method or reducing balance method or sum of year digit -calculating EOQ -learning inventory recording method such as LIFO, FIFO, WACC. -Learning how to record in a stock card -master the calculation of ratio -master complex IAS such as IAS33, IFRS 9, IFRS 16 and many more -introduction to auditing The list is complex and I cannot mention all just book for a trial lesson and accounting will now be easy as drinking water. I will use PDF documents, textbooks, workbooks, Preply whiteboard and chat.
