About Hirak
For 15 years, I was a professional in the mining industry working across South-east Asia, generally content with my life. It was sometime during 2017, I started to explore photography mainly as a hobby. But it gradually started to grow within me so strongly that I realised what drove me each day to learn and grow was no longer my job but the mountains and the oceans.
Finally I took the plunge and quit my job in the hopes of dedicating myself entirely to learning and pursuing photography.
I began as a landscape and astro-photographer and then eventually started more portrait photography. My work on human portraiture has been exhibited and awarded in many national and international exhibitions and competitions.
I received the AFIAP distinction from The International Federation of Photographic Art in 2021. In 2022 Bronze Medal in Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA 2022) in People and Culture category. I received Honourable Mention in the Colour photography competition organized by PX3, Paris. In 2020, I qualified as a finalist of Nature’s Best Photography Asia competition. I was awarded Honr. GPA. PESGSPC distinction from Cyprus in 2021.
My work has been exhibited at Black Box Gallery, USA and published in several international photographic magazines.

Assessing the student's needs: Before beginning the tutoring sessions, I gather information about the student's current level of knowledge, learning style, and specific areas of photography they have an interest.
Setting learning objectives: Based on the assessment, I work with the student to establish clear learning objectives and goals and will develop a customized lesson plan.
Explaining concepts: During the tutoring sessions, my focus would be to develop a strong understanding of the photographic gear, properties of light and how to create perspective using angle of view.
Encouraging active learning: I believe that active participation is crucial for effective learning of photography, hence will recommend some outdoor sessions also.
Continuous assessment and feedback: Throughout the tutoring process, I regularly assess the student's progress and provide constructive feedback through critical analysis of their assignments.

Details
Generally, I would suggest in a month 4 theory classes and 2 practical classes. To cover the basic light and composition training it will take at least 6 months.
