About Katelyn
After school and during the weekends, Katelyn is always doing choral and music extracurriculars inside and outside her school. She participates in many choirs, plays three instruments, and is involved with any music opportunity she can. She also qualified for District chorus, which is an auditioned based chorus who picks select students from different high schools in each district. She also studies singing privately with a teacher.

I have made it my goal to participate in many musical opportunities within and outside of my school. I want to expand my passion and share my knowledge with those who are interested in music and singing! As an student myself, I understand that life gets in the way, and you don’t always get to do the things you always wanted to try.
Music is a beautiful thing, and my ultimate goal is to help others see the beauty in it as well. Since I am not a professional, I teach younger children (elementary and middle school) who are just starting out, or always had a passion for music! My lessons consist of being a practice buddy to students and teaching skills of how to produce a healthy and beautiful singing voice, how to read music that they are practicing, and how to develop a practice schedule that works with the student. If a student has a specific learning preference, I am willing to teach in that way.
