About Arianna

My teaching experience is organized in several areas: academic experiences, personal or even collective and work experience (tutoring, working with languages and schools). Already in 2003, I took part in the organization of a seminar that the philosophical collective "Antasofia" promoted within the Department of Philosophy at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. This experience was a great opportunity for personal growth, as experiment training / self-study that allowed Bachelor and Master students to compare their individual studies, to present their knowledge against the academic audience and especially to learn and cope with the difficulty that involves all work together. After my defense of Master 2, I have actively collaborated with the Chair of "aesthetic Critical" Ms. Monica Serrano with two modular courses (2007 and 2008). This experience was very informative, allowing me to put me to the test in university education. I learned how to build a clear and articulate speech, and clear to the public that may have the desire and the ability to participate in the final debate. From 2006 to 2010, a period when I was living in Rome, I started parallel to tutor in French, Ancient Greek, philosophy. I also worked as homework help for children with learning difficulties (mainly dyslexia). This last experience allowed me to explore other aspects of the teaching profession, and to face the difficulties that made the exciting challenge. I had to take responsibility to young students, who forced me to develop different learning strategies tailored to specific situations and the daily needs of school children. The teaching and learning approach was to measure short-term (to allow the student to follow the pace of learning in the class, to help him overcome his difficulties in concentration, in reading and in understanding daily duties, often through writing summaries and diagrams necessary to facilitate the learning process for acquiring and storing the theoretical content). There are two years old, when I was in Paris became final, I also had the opportunity to give Italian lessons in a language school located in Neuilly-sur-Seine. This experience has been very educational for me, giving me the opportunity to meet an adult audience, and not only young students or young academics. The training had to adapt to different levels and achieve objectives defined on time: know and understand the rules of Italian grammar by memorizing its main structures (verbs, syntax) and the rules of pronunciation, enter a vocabulary base or improve existing knowledge to access the intermediate or intermediate level confirmed master the concept of time, to communicate in Italian, know the Italian culture (literature, geography, history, politics). The courses (37 hours per level) provided a progressive training in oral and written language in written and audio media, conversation hours, exercises for oral and written comprehension.
