About David

Hi! My name is David and I am a jazz trumpet player and composer. I have recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Trumpet Performance, and have been playing for 13 years. I have also been teaching lessons since I was in high school, for the past 6 years. I love jazz and the trumpet and love teaching those who are excited to learn from my own experience as a musician.

About the lesson

I find a balance between exploring and having fun, while still setting goals and building healthy fundamentals and habits. I like to allow students to discover what they truly enjoy in the music they're learning, as I believe that is what music is about in the end!

I teach beginner and intermediate players both skills in playing the trumpet, as well as jazz and improvisation, and how to navigate the difficulty of both worlds.
