About Fatima

Teaching singing is rarely about just hitting notes and more about understanding the mechanical architecture of the voice. I have spent 10 years guiding vocalists from nervous beginners to performance-level candidates, meeting them exactly where they are currently standing. My Juilliard training provides the foundation for this technical approach to vocal production.

It is genuinely enjoyable to witness a student finally grasp the mechanics of proper resonance and breathing control. Over the course of 10 years, I have worked with hundreds of individuals who wanted to refine their genre styling or prepare for exams. I enjoy the process of deconstructing complex belting techniques into manageable concepts. Watching a student gain microphone technique and performance confidence is the most rewarding aspect of this career.

About the lesson

Do you ever wonder why your voice feels restricted when navigating different registers? Achieving a seamless transition requires a concept-first approach to breathing control and resonance that I have developed over 10 years.

My background as a Juilliard-trained performer informs how we explore sight singing, diction, and articulation together. By focusing on the structural integrity of your sound, we ensure that your musical theater or classical performance remains consistent and healthy under pressure.

Providing free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes ensures that you have the resources to practice effectively between our meetings. We will work through these specific exercises to stabilize your pitch and increase your dynamic range. These sessions are designed to build your internal monitor and confidence during every performance. You will leave the space with a clearer understanding of your instrument.
