I don’t just want you to get an A on a test you’re stressed about. I want you to be confident in your own academic ability! Everyone has a way of learning that works best for them. I want you to find yours!
I spent most of high school finding the best method for me, and devoted the remainder of my time to helping friends and colleagues do the same. Now, a couple years into college, I can say that I have upheld that by helping roommates and new friends, as well as learning a bit more about my own learning style.

As a tutor, my main goal is to teach you how to think critically and how to find a studying approach that works best for you. The most important part of learning is to understand what you are learning- not simply to memorize it. This has been my approach, and it makes it so much easier to memorize the key points of a lesson for those courses that require heavy memorization.
