I have been a school tutor for one year. I like helping people learn different approaches to those that their teacher or professor may have taught them. I feel that it does not only benefit the tutee but it also benefits the tutor. They are learning while teaching which makes it a win win for both the tutor and the tutee. A typical lesson for me would include helping with homework and where there are struggles I will use it as an opportunity to teach with creating a similar problem or trying to come up with new way to solve the problem.
