About Alexandria
I am a collegiate athlete currently enrolled at Anderson University. I am aspiring to finish with a Biochemistry B.S. degree with a writing minor.
I have always enjoyed the classes I have taken throughout school, even if it may seem like an impossible subject to understand.
I have completed the following classes:
Zoology, Botany, Intro to Chemistry I & II, English I & II, Creative Writing, Organic Chemistry I & II, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Calculus I & II, Genetics, Biochemistry I and Organic Spectroscopy
I am currently enrolled in:
Instrumental Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry II and Physic (calc based) I
I work in the lab most days of the week and try to help others in any way. I am currently employed as our school's teacher's assistant for Organic Chemistry Lab.

I have been employed as a teacher's assistant for four semesters. I have assisted for Intro to Chemistry for two semesters, Organic Chemistry for two semesters, Microbiology for one semester and Zoology for one semester. When helping other students understand a concept, it is most helpful when he/she has notes already taken or an idea of the concept being taught. I typically start with a few questions about the topic to understand the current perspective the student has. I try to break down the mechanism/concept/etc. in a much more abstract way rather than reading straight from a textbook.
I understand how it feels when you don't seem to understand anything the professor or teacher is lecturing about. I'm here to try and explain these concepts in ways that are much easier to understand.
