About Aisha
I have recently completed my A levels and will be studying English literature at undergraduate level. This makes me a valuable teacher as I was also a student not too long ago, therefore, my knowledge of the subject is fresh and aligns with the current curriculum most advantageously. Additionally, I would be able to offer the most recent and effective study techniques that would be most suitable for each student. My experience in working with younger students and students my own age makes me highly suitable to teach a range of different curriculums and levels.

I cater to all levels from primary and secondary up until A level. I can provide students with the skills that will enable them to think more critically which would enable them to analyse texts better and in turn excel in their exams. Lessons will provide support in strengthening grammatical, analytical, and essay writing skills. Students will be taught how to approach new texts, questions for their revised texts, and the best methods to revise. The lessons will be a mixture of discussions and practise writing model answers. This will enable them to understand their texts better whether that be poetry, prose, modern texts, classical texts, or plays. Not only will I focus on exam style answers but help can be provided for students with coursework.

Aisha’s method of breaking down complex Shakespeare plays into digestible analysis has boosted my grades from a 6 to an 8. She is patient but wastes no time delving into heavy content and tackling tricky topics. She goes through exam content and essay techniques which has been really helpful in preparing me for my GCSE exams. I’ve even started enjoying studying poetry! Can’t recommend her enough.
