There's this one memory I keep coming back to when I think about Saayni as a teacher. We were in 12th grade, and I was completely lost on a topic I'd already asked two people to explain and still didn't get. Saayni sat with me during lunch, no textbook, just talking it through in her own words, and somewhere in there it just made sense. I remember being kind of annoyed at myself that it took someone explaining it that simply for it to click, but that was Saayni. She just has a way of explaining things.

We've been friends since 11th grade (same college, same tuitions), so I've seen this side of her a lot. People gravitated toward her when they were stuck. Not because she was the smartest in the room, plenty of people were, but because she actually cared whether you got it, and she never rushed you or made you feel slow for asking again.

I think that's a harder quality to find than people realise. A lot of people can explain something once. Saayni could explain it five different ways until one of them landed, and she'd do it without making you feel bad about needing five tries.

That's the kind of teacher I know her to be - kind, knowledgeable, and never in a rush until something actually clicks. I'd highly recommend her as a tutor without hesitation.
