About Ingrid

"I understand a lot of English, but I am awful to talk, it seems that I say everything wrong, I am ashamed!". I was also in your place, I understood practically everything, but I couldn't speak, it was general. Do you know why? Due to lack of practice, lack of conversation with someone in English. And that's why I'm here to help you !! My methodology will be based on conversation, I want to help you with your pronunciation (which is the weakness of many people in proficiency tests like IELTS and TOEFL). Grammar revisions will be worked on as well. Tell me what your difficulty is and I will help you improve your English. Excerpts from film, music and series will be used as an example and entertainment to better set the rules. So, let's do it! :)

About the lesson

Graduated in Building Construction by IFMT (Federal Institute of Mato Grosso) in 2018, I am one of the 5 students from Brazil selected in a scholarship program in Canada, representing the Midwest of the country. I have lived in Canada for a year, I have a degree in EAP (English for Academic Preparation). I am currently studying Construction Engineering Technology, and I work at a restaurant here in the Niagara Falls region. My first teaching experience was in 2017 for a 10 year old girl. Today, with fluent English, I want to be able to share all my knowledge that I have acquired and continue to acquire.
